Artist's Statement |
As a satirist I am able to give an edge to my portraits. I aim to achieve with my caricature a portrait that has a creative energy that captures the sitter’s characteristics and personality and extends beyond a purely photographic representation. |
Statement |
I always insist on a short meeting with the client where I can make a preliminary sketch, and take some reference photographs. I am then able to study the sitter’s facial expressions and characteristics, and complete the portrait in the studio.
Portrait commissions can be supplied suitably framed. |
