Artist's Statement   “My aim is always to produce a good academic portrait based on sound draughtsmanship. A sympathetic likeness is very important but most of all it should be a good painting.”

Statement      The artist believes clients feel more comfortable and at ease in their own surroundings rather than the formality of the studio. Sittings last from one to one and a half hours depending on the size and content of the painting. Up to three to eight sittings may be necessary. The commission does not come framed but the artist is happy to offer advice on the matter.
